STOVE & OVEN PROBLEMS

WON’T TURN ON

For an electric stove will not turn on, first check if the stove power cord is plugged in and all circuit breakers are switched on. You need to check the pilot light for gas models. If the oven power cord is plugged in or if the pilot light is burning in the oven, that means another part of the oven will have to be replaced. The reason for the problem might be the infinite switch, surface element, oven igniter or bake and broil element.

BURNER DOESN’T HEAT

A burner or stove or oven that does not heat does not do much. Your oven will not heat when there is a broken bake element or oven sensor. A burner doesn’t turn on if an element breaks or when the burner switch or terminal block do not work. We are able to troubleshoot and repair these problems in less than 1-2 hours after our arrival.

TIMER PROBLEMS

You can assume the control board on a stove or oven is broken when the program or timer functions do not work. In this case, we can repair control boards on LG, Sears, GE, KitchenAid, Kenmore and many other brands of ovens, ranges and stoves. We offer a warranty on control boards and the replacement parts we use for this oven repair service.

OVEN TEMPERATURE IS VERY HOT

You need a hot oven. Just not too hot! When the oven heat is out of control, it could be because of a broken thermostat or sensor. Our technicians know how to find the cause of the issue and then repair it. But be careful if troubleshooting this problem for fear of body burns from the high and unpredictable heat source.

IGNITER WON’T LIGHT

A reoccurring stove problem is that an igniter will glow but does not light. The reason this occurs is sometimes from either a broken electronic control, surface igniter, safety valve or temperature sensor. We are able to determine if we can fix these appliance parts or if we will have to replace the part.

DOOR WON’T OPEN

New self-cleaning types of ovens are known to have door problems often. The door does not open after the oven cleans itself. We monitor the door latch, thermostat and seal to identify why the door does not open up and then complete the repair in order to fix the issue.
